I am currently working on a master's degree in secondary education mathematics. I work for the University of Alabama's introductory mathematics courses and have taught everything from algebra all the way to calculus, including precalculus algebra and trigonometry. I have also tutored every listed in the last sentence and have experience tutoring an 11th grader in precalculus algebra. The way I tutor is reteaching the student the information and then having the student do problems by themselves and then show them where their mistakes are. I have had much success in tutoring, I had a student who went from getting Fs to getting an A in precalculus.

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. If a tutor is interested but not yet approved in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
