I have much experience in elementary education from Kindergarten Literacy Intervention, to teaching both 3rd and 1st grades. It is my goal and philosophy as an educator to encourage learning in an order in which every student has the right and ability to learn in a way that encourages creativity, individuality, and responsibility. My 5 and 1/2 year experience teaching elementary students from diverse backgrounds on multiple learning levels has allowed me to richly benefit from the varying strategy trainings, mentoring programs, and school cultures. I am an energetic, resourceful, organized teacher with the flexibility to adapt to new challenges. Learning is growth and growth is learning. I look forward to new opportunities to grow and learn both as a person and as a professional tutor/teacher.
