Hi, my name is Max, and I tutor math, trigonometry, algebra and physics at high-school and college level, including test preparation. I have over 10 years of experience as a teacher at a public university.
My tutoring method has the goal of making the student an independent thinker who can succeed on their own. It starts with an understanding of the concepts, and then develop problem-solving skills. Math and physics become easy once the student understand the simple concepts that are at the base of it all, and I like to illustrate them with simple example that any student can relate to. What's the law of action and reaction? Think about pushing against the floor, and the floor will push back so that you can actually jump! That's how easy math and physics can be.
