General Music

I took piano lessons for over 14 years. During that time I gained knowledge of reading music by sight and how it applies the the keyboard. It is my belief that the hardest part of learning any instrument is reading music. The ability to read music will open the door to learning any instrument you desire. Once you know how to apply the music to your particular instrument all you need is practice, practice, practice to excel.

Piano

After taking piano lessons for more than 14 years, I try to incorporate the things I loved while taking lessons and minimize the things I hated. As much as I disliked practice during those years, I realize that it is essential to success. I like to teach students to sight read music before we move into keyboard applications. It is my belief that reading music is the hardest part of playing an instrument and once you learn music and how it applies to the instrument all you need is practice to reach your goals.
