Hi, parents and students!
My name is Sheree, and I'm a wife of thirty-four years, a mother of three and a grandmother of two. I love to read, and I have worked with my children and former students to hopefully pass on that interest.
I have a B.S. degree in special education from Auburn University. I taught high school, elementary and middle school. I stayed home with my three children for several years, and we enjoyed working with the basics in reading and math. I like to incorporate fun games and activities and tie them into the subjects we are working on. Two years ago, I worked as a tutorial assistant at Girard Middle School, where I worked with 6th and 7th grade students in math.
When my children were in school, I served as a volunteer for several years. The Edmond, Oklahoma school system had a Parents Assisting Learning (Pals) program where I worked with their teachers weekly. I worked in the computer lab and I also worked with first graders one-on-one with reading and writing activities. I also volunteered in the Kelly Springs School library weekly when we moved to Dothan. I continued to volunteer throughout their elementary, middle school and high school years in the Dothan City School system.
I enjoy working with K - 6th grade students in reading and math!
