Hello! I graduated in 2013 from Princeton with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and a certificate in Environmental Studies. Before Princeton, I attended Oak Mountain High School where I challenged myself with a rigorous AP schedule across many disciplines. I am now taking post-baccalaureate courses at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in order to meet medical school admission requirements. In the meantime, I would love to help students on their paths to success. I know schools are becoming increasingly competitive places as the stakes for gaining admission into top colleges and receiving top scholarships are raised, and I believe being a tutor is a good way to support students and mitigate stress levels. I've been blessed with many opportunities to study the things I love, and I bring that passion to educational opportunities-- basic biology, genetics, ecology, environmental science, algebra and trigonometry-- I find it all exciting and value the opportunity to help others get excited about math and science, too. I have experience as a nature instructor with the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute, where I received top marks in the areas of instruction and scholarship. Beyond math and science, I am also proficient in Spanish and am available for Spanish lessons as well as conversational practice. Please feel free to reach out through WyzAnt with any questions about my experiences!
