ACT Math

Standardized tests can be stressful. I have taken many myself and know that on test day, being prepared is the best way to tackle the test and succeed! I have taken and taught many math courses and will be able to prepare a student to succeed on the ACT!

Algebra 1

Algebra 1 is the foundation for high school math courses. My goal is to help students succeed in Algebra 1 and to understand the concepts so that they can continue to further their math education and to do so with excellence.

Algebra 2

I have taught Algebra 2 to a variety of students with different learning styles. Through many ways of presenting the material I was able to help every one of those students succeed. Higher level math does not have to be a challenge, but can be a fun experience!

I have taken anatomy courses in high school and in college as a Biology major. I succeeded in these courses and know what it takes to succeed.

I took many math classes in high school and college and have also taught many at the high school level. With the right tutor, Geometry can be very easy and fun.

Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word is vitally important in passing junior high, high school and college courses. Having used Microsoft Word for the last 13 years, I know the many facets of this program. Microsoft Word does not have to be stressful to use, but instead a valuable tool.

Track & Field

Not only have I participated in track/field for over 8 years, but I have also had the opportunity to coach track/field at the junior high and high school level.

Trigonometry is a building block for the upper level maths of Pre-Calculus and Calculus. I have taught this subject and have helped many students to fulfill their potential.

She was enthusiastic and easy to work with, understanding when I made mistakes and encouraging when I tried using tricks to retain the information. She uses practical application and repetitive practice to make sure I really have a concept before we move on. Because of C ...
