    With over 20 years of experience in many fields, I like to give back to others. I remember when I was in 4th grade and I was having a very difficult time with my English class, how two teachers took me under their wings and tutored me on their off time. I never forgot that. I even remember their names, Mrs. H Levine and Mrs. R Levine. They were my angels. By the 6th grade I was the winner of the SPELLING BEE, outperforming all the kids and my grades just shot up. That was a critical time because after that I got a scholarship to New York University, and that was a very difficult school to get into.

    I have always been an over achiever with many interests, and my diverse background has allowed me to develop my skills. I am a published writer, edited books for other authors, performed statistical work for Television Networks, and currently I own 2 businesses which impact the community in a positive way. So, I live by my word, I preach what I teach. I believe that I can make a difference for someone else, and that could be you. So if you would like to have fun while you learn, let me help you to be all that you can be. I am currently teaching at the Graduate, High School and Elementary levels. I make learning fun!!

    Cancellation Policy:
    I understand that things come up. However, I have many students that I am working with and need 24 hour advanced notice for a canceled lesson, otherwise you will be charged my rate.

      very knowledgeable

      I just had my first lesson with John and i was very impressed by his knowledge on the subject, the way he was able to understand my needs during the studies and the material i needed to master. He had also a great patience and gave positive feedback. He answered all my questions and demonstrated a great knowledge on the use of computer related to my studies. If you need a tutor who is knowledgeable, patient and interesting to work with, he is the one!

      Anjali K is very good with my son

      Anjali K is very good with my son. Lian never communicates with me to tell me that he doesnt understand his math. I thought that he was just lazy, because I when I ask him a simple maths problem and he doesnt think, he said nothing comes to his mind. Ms. Anjali K told him to used his paper and pencil. I like the way she works with him.

Wyzant offers so much to both the tutors and to the students who are looking for tutoring, whether it be for yoga or swimming or pre-algebra and biology, Wyzant has professional and very educated tutors. Wyzant's policies are all very fair - again, to the tutors and to the students. Students are not charged until after their sessions and they have to be happy and satisfied with their sessions. Tutors are paid twice a month like a regular paid job and the checks are timely and accurate. Additionally, the info@wyzant.com email address offers almost instant answers and explanations; the website's FAQ is also an excellent resource for any questions for students and tutors.     • WyzAnt is a phenomenal idea for matching students with tutors and tutors with students. People who want tutoring no longer have to rely on word of mouth to find a great tutor. Also, tutors don't have to worry about clients who try to obtain services without paying, due to WyzAnt's secure payment policies.
