Sudbury features excellent primary and secondary school systems. K-8 is represented by the Sudbury Public Schools with four primary schools and one middle school: Israel Loring elementary school, Josiah Haynes Elementary, General John Nixon Elementary, Peter Noyes Elementary, and Ephraim Curtis Middle School. From there, most students attend Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, which comprises its own school system. However, some will attend Minuteman Regional High School, a vocational school. Lincoln-Sudbury is made up of students from Sudbury and a neighboring town, Lincoln, and is often referred to as "a different kind of place" due to the unique and friendly relationship between the students and the staff. The school was recently renovated in 2004 and has wonderful facilities. The school also has a very strong athletics program and LS boasts nationally ranked academic teams. Lincoln-Sudbury not only excels academically, but offers its students a range of extracurricular activities. - Written by Kan C.
