The first step in getting started with a WyzAnt tutor is to
search our tutor database. Read about our great tutors, and email a few people
who interest you with your questions. You should hear back within a couple days
at the latest. If not, please
contact us and we'll follow
up with the tutor.
Now that you have billing information on file, you have the
green light
to begin your lessons. There are two payment plans, which are explained below. Unless
you visit the
purchase page and execute a credit
package purchase, you will by default be under the pay-as-you-go plan.
Pay as you go.
By default, your credit card will be charged after each lesson based on your tutor's
hourly rate. (If you have a 90 minute lesson and your tutor's rate is $40/hr, you
will be charged 1.5x$40=$60.) There are no other charges or hidden fees.
Prepurchase a tutoring package and save up to 15%.
If you purchase at least $400 in tutoring credit, you save 10%. Purchase at least
$1000 in tutoring credit and save 15%.

To purchase a tutoring package, simply login to your WyzAnt account and navigate to the secure payment page. After each lesson, your account will be debited the appropriate amount.
Alternatively, you may pay for each lesson as you go. Under the "pay-as-you-go" option, WyzAnt charges your credit card after each lesson.
