My son, Matt, is currently attending Oakland Community College. He is in his second year of a Science Associates Degree. As he has failed a couple of classes, he will be attending school through the summer. Next semester he has chosen to take English, History and Politics. He failed his last English and History Classes, so I am in a bit of a panic. Matt does have some issues. He was diagnosed with ADHD when he was 7 and has been on medication since. My son attends a half day kindergarten program here in NK. He also receives speech therapy services from the school (only 20 min a week). They mostly work on articulation and ending sounds (K, L and g)
He loves to hear stories (we read nightly) and really wants to be a better reader however I don't feel as though he is getting enough attention at school and would benefit from a private tutor in our home at least once a week.
