A new year and a new semester for most students--it's a time to think about where you are academically and what goals you want to achieve. For high school juniors, it's the time to start preparing for the ACT & SAT. For high school seniors, you will be receiving your college acceptances soon, or if you applied early, you may already know where you are going to college. For college students, this is the time to get organized and focused. For middle school students, time to start taking more responsibility for your own learning--a little less playing & a little more effort.

Wherever you are in life, try to be your own 'best friend' by thinking positive and encouraging yourself. You can do what you make up your mind to do. Let's be determined to have a great 2013! I will. How about you?
