October 28th Writing Challenge

Just 3 more days til Halloween! I'd like to share that this is my favorite holiday of the year because it's the only day that you can be whomever you want, and no one faults you for it *smiles*

Today's challenge:

Write a 3 paragraph story, set in the fall during a hayride, using each of the letters of HALLOWEEN, in sets of 3, as the beginning letter of the first 3 words in each of your paragraphs.

Example:

Paragraph one: He Always Loses...

Paragraph two: Lucy Owes Warren...

Paragraph three: Eventually Everyone Nodded...

October 14th Writing Challenge

Today is all about ghosts, ghouls, goblins, and vampires as we prepare for all that Halloween has to offer in the way of fun and in some cultures, honoring of the dead.

You are preparing for a Halloween masquerade ball and are able to become whomever it is that is your alter ego. Incorporating words of Halloween, hayrides, spiders and dark, moonlit nights, write a 1000 word piece on who you will become for the party, and the significance of this change on this one special night.
